ALAC-III Conducts a Seminar on Bonded Labor at Mianwali:
ALAC III arranged a seminar on “Bonded Labor and Child
Labor”. SHARP keeps on arranging seminars and workshops
very regularly. Most of these seminars and workshops are need
based and are arranged to sensitize and educate different
groups of people working in different capacities.
ALAC III, keeping in mind the concept of workshops and
seminars arranged a seminar on “Bonded Labor and Child
Labor” at Jinnah Municipal Hall Mianwali. The purpose
of the seminar was to assemble a seminar for Organizations,
Lawyers, Media, Brick Kilns Owners and Distt. Administration.
The team held meetings with managers of different NGOs,
representatives of Mianwali Bar Association, media representatives
and Distt. Administration, they were told in relation to
the objectives of seminar and were also requested to attend
the seminar. The team also contacted Mr. Waseem Ajmal DCO
Mianwali and requested him to participate in seminar as
chief guest. He appreciated the efforts made by SHARP and
excused the team that due to his official engagement he
could not be available on 10th June, 09. Then the team contacted
Mr. Sarwar Khan Niazi, he accepted the request and confirmed
his participation.
