Society for Human Rights and Prisoner’s Aid (SHARP) organized a Two-Days Training workshop titled “Attorneys of Human Rights” for the legal fraternity in order to train them on national and international instruments of Human Rights and act as Defenders of Human Rights.

This workshop was the first of a series of four workshops that SHARP is planning. In this regard we are planning to hold other workshops in Lahore, Bahawalpur/Multan and one in Karachi. The two in Punjab will be conducted with the assistance of SHARP ALAC-II Lahore team whereas the one in Sindh with SHARP ALAC-IV Karachi team.

The proposed months for holding these trainings are as following:

Lahore: End September 2010

Bahawalpur/Multan: Mid October 2010

Karachi: Mid November 2010
